05:55 am Yesterday was a fun afternoon. My accounting prof told me I did a good job on my test, which was nice, cause I didn't think I had done as well as I could have at a B. Then we got to do some in class problems for extra points, which hopefully brought the grade up to an A-. Anyways, this isn't the fun part. I met up with Chanel after class and ran into a bunch of the immersion kids. Some of the girls were going shopping and the guys with them didn't particularly want to go, so they came with us just to hang out in the Tuillerie gardens. There just happens to be a carnaval there at the moment and we found the ejection seat which two of the boys decided it would be way cool to go on. It was funny to see them so scared. When they got off, both of them were shaking. Then we found a place to sit and talk for awhile so the boys could calm down and have a few fags (cigarettes for americans). We got a little bored after that and went to check out some music we heard, but it turned out to be a bunch of roadies doing soundcheck for a concert that wasn't going to happen for a day or two. After wandering around for a while longer (and almost getting chucked into one of the fountains in the gardens and play fighting - all the while getting covered in dust....) we wandered up the Champs-Elysees where the boys thought it would be hilarious to start singing the Champs-Elysees song which one of them had on his ipod and another had a lyrics sheet to.... Eventually we moved on (thank GOD) and walked up further only to discover it was getting late and some people had to go home to study for a test and their stuff was at my apartment. So we headed back in the direction of the metro to my place. Once we got here, the boys suddenly wanted to play with my computer for an hour.... Once we sheparded them out, the few of us left went to a tapas bar around the corner and got a very tall pitcher of sangria and some appetisers. It was pretty good... and I haven't gotten that tipsy off that little amount of alcohol in awhile. All in all it was a good night. Hopefully tonight will be just as fun..... ;D Current Mood: mellow Current Music: In My Life - The Beatles
